Things to do in Lido Key
Just a brief and scenic drive west of Sarasota and home to one of Florida’s most pristine beaches, Lido Key is known for its eco-tourism and sunset cruises. It’s the place to go for deep sea fishing, dolphin watching and sailing. Fine and full-featured resorts welcome you to Lido Key, as do smaller hotels and time-share properties. The seafood is as fresh as it can be, and the sunsets are unbeatable. Also located along the causeway to Lido Key is St. Armands Circle, a gentrified center of chic boutiques, fine dining establishments and snack bars.

South Lido Park
South Lido Park consists of one hundred acres containing a variety of coastal habitats influenced by the Gulf of Mexico, Big Sarasota Pass, Sarasota Bay, and Brushy Bayou. Park goals are to maintain an environmentally sensitive area and open space to serve the passive recreation needs of county residents and visitors. Park users may enjoy bathing in the waters of the Gulf and Pass, and picnicking and hiking in the wooded areas. How to get there
The map below shows the pickup points and route for our Lido Key vacations. Our Express Motorcoach (see below) travels westbound on Highway 401 crossing the border in Sarnia. For a detailed list of pickup locations click here. If you live outside of this routing area, you may wish to take advantage of our Connections Program to meet the coach.

Why is it called Express?
Our coaches travelling to Florida are equipped with a comfortable bunk enabling two drivers to alternately drive and sleep. This eliminates an overnight stay however, we do stop for comfort breaks every 3-4 hours en route. Our drivers are thoughtful and kind and will help guide the group through border crossings and restaurants stops.
