Aboard a dinner cruise, the blazing colours of the setting sun are a feast for your eyes. During the drumming and dancing performances, marvel at the intricately designed costumes worn by generations of performers. The dance regalia is handcrafted, each stunningly beautiful and even more so when in motion during the stirring traditional dances. At the Ojibway Cultural Foundation Museum and Healing Centre, Anishinaabe heritage is honoured and protected in carvings, baskets and drums.
Capture the breathtaking Bridal Falls with your camera or simply sit and admire the majesty of this natural wonder. Cross Lake Huron to Tobermory aboard the iconic Chi-Cheemaun Ferry. Ojibwe for “Big Canoe,” this ferry crosses the deep waters of Georgian Bay.

Day 1: Travel to Manitoulin Island
Embark on your three day adventure to Manitoulin Island; a cultural mecca full of history surrounding around First Nations culture. Get to know your fellow travellers over an included lunch in Parry Sound. You will arrive in Manitoulin island in the early evening for a lovely dinner cruise featuring Drum Entertainment.

Day 2: Sightseeing tour of Manitoulin Island, Aboriginal entertainment
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel in the morning before setting off for a day full of sightseeing and culture throughout Manitoulin Island. Stop at breathtaking Bridal Falls, its natural beauty is a sight to behold. Have your camera ready! In Kagawong, you’ll have a chance to shop for unique gifts at Manitoulin Chocolate Works’ shop, and the KuKu African Shop. Spend the afternoon immersed in Aboriginal culture and art, with a visit to Lillian’s Crafts, the Ojibway Cultural Foundation and Museum and the Healing Centre. This evening, enjoy dinner and a drum and dance show to further your appreciation of Aboriginal traditions.

Day 3: Chi-Cheemaun Ferry, Travel home
You will be saying farewell to Manitoulin Island today, but not before taking part in two quintessential experiences. First, travel to South Baymouth for a crossing of Lake Huron to Tobermory aboard the Chi-Cheemaun Ferry. Explore the charming fishing village of Tobermory lined with many restaurants and shops before beginning your journey home.
