Day 1: Scranton, PA
Journey aboard our luxury motorcoach as it makes it way to Scranton, Pennsylvania. Enjoy the scenery and the onboard amenities including Wi-Fi and satellite radio. Get to know your fellow passengers during an included welcome dinner this evening.

Day 2: Boston, MA
Founded in 1630, Boston is one of the oldest cities in the United States. After lunch on your own in Quincy Market, explore this treasure trove of history on a guided city tour. See sights such as the Freedom Trail, and the Old North Church, and cross the Charles River to tour Cambridge and Harvard University.

Day 3: Amtrak’s Downeaster, Lobsterbake
All board! Travel on the Amtrak Train “Downeaster” to Maine for a guided tour of Kennebunkport, a quiet coastal town known for its boutiques, art galleries and restaurants. An entertaining lobsterbake is a highlight of your time in Maine. More than a dish or even a feast, the tradition celebrates family, food and friendship.

Day 4: Notch Train
History unfolds and surrounds you as you chug down the Maine Central Railroad’s famed Mountain Division line – these tracks were laid in the 1870s! The scenery in Crawford Notch is breathtakingly dramatic: soaring mountains, steep ravines and cascading brooks. Cross Frankenstein Trestle and Willey Brook Bridge to The Rocks Estate.

Day 5: Kancamagus Scenic Byway
This stunning journey was carved through the White Mountain National Forest, and today admire views of the White Mountains, Lower Falls and Rocky Gorge. Nicknamed The Kanc, this scenic byway brings to you a jaw dropping elevation of nearly 3,000 feet! Travel by cable car to the 4,080-foot summit of Cannon Mountain in just ten minutes! Scenic walking paths invite you to stroll and enjoy the fresh mountain air. This is the best way to see the sights of New Hampshire.

Day 6: Lake Winnipesauke Cruise, Café Lafayette Dinner Train
Nestled in the foothills of the White Mountains is Winnipersaukee Lake, the largest lake in New Hampshire. The crystal clear water is spring-fed and is dotted with more than 300 islands. Cruise along, admiring the mountains, wildlife and natural beauty. Tour the Wright Museum, which houses an incredible 14,000+ items significant to World War II from both the home front and battlefield. Enjoy a fine dining experience this evening on the Café Lafayette Dinner Train, sure to be a highlight of this tour!

Bennington’s bustling main street welcomes you with friendly shops, galleries and cozy restaurants. Enjoy lunch at The Publyk House, richly decorated, complete with barn board, cozy fireplaces and of course, the aroma of a home-cooked meals! At Hemming Automobillia, car lovers will delight in the collection of signs, die-cast models, pedal cars, auto artwork and more. Tour one of Vermont’s finest orchards, Bennington Apple Barn. Indulge in warm apple pie topped with cool and creamy ice cream as part of your tour!

Day 8: Tanglewood, Stockbridge
Tanglewood is home to a collection of three music schools: the Tanglewood Music Center, Days in the Arts and the Boston University Tanglewood Institute. This iconic music venue is also the summer home to the Boston Symphony Orchestra. At Chesterwood, admire the works of Daniel Chester French, creator of the Minute Man and Abraham Lincoln for the Lincoln Memorial. The buildings including his studio were donated by his only child to the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Here you can see many plaster sketches of his 200 plus public and private commissions.
