Springtime in Ottawa – 3 Days
Day 1: Travel to Ottawa
Arrive in Ottawa by mid-afternoon where you will be introduced to the major landmarks of the city’s downtown before some free time to explore the city at your leisure. Your hotel has a superb central location near shopping and the Parliament Buildings.
Stay: Delta Hotel, Ottawa
Day 2: Ottawa city tour, Rideau Hall
Start the day with a guided city tour of Ottawa. Learn about the city’s historic sights from a local expert and see the tulip gardens in Major’s Hill Park. Today, you can choose to visit either the Canadian War Museum or the Canadian Museum of History. At the Canadian War Museum, explore Canada’s military past and how it shaped the country. The Museum of Civilization is Canada’s national museum of human history and explores our cultural diversity. Some free time this afternoon allows you to explore various Ottawa venues with the help of your DeNureTours Tour Directory and driver.
Day 3: Aboriginal experience, Travel home
Enjoy the Aboriginal Experience which includes a guided tour of the Native Village, a vibrant dance performance, followed by tea and bannock. Located in the beautiful outdoors on Victoria Island, the Aboriginal Experience pride themselves on delivering something truly authentic that informs and enlightens visitors on the diversity of Aboriginal cultures across Canada and how they’ve progressed through the ages.
