One of the world’s oldest mountain ranges, the Laurentians blaze in bright autumn hues for our Quebec Colours tour. Ville de Mont-Tremblant is nestled in a cozy valley 130kms north of Montreal. Amble down the cobbled walkways of this alpine-inspired village with a distinct Québécois flavour. Pop into chalet shops, boutiques, bistros, and bars. Drink hot chocolate and pick up a Christmas ornament of Santa Claus on skiis! Then witness the carpet of crimsons that cover the mountains from a cruise on Lac Tremblant.

Continue to Gatineau with a stop to explore 12 kilometres of wildlife at Parc Omega. Lakes, meadows, and rocky outcrops provide sanctuary to elk, wolves, bison and bears. Visit the log Park House for the exceptional photo gallery, sculptures, and souvenirs. Stay at Gatineau’s Casino du Lac-Leamy, where you’re close enough to visit our nation’s capital and try your hand at roulette, craps, or the innovative slot machines – there are 1,700 to choose from!

In Canada’s cosmopolitan capital, visit the National Gallery of Canada – its glass architecture a work of art itself – holding the world’s largest collection of classic, contemporary, and indigenous Canadian art. Browse the Byward market, four square blocks of artisan shops and culinary excess.

Journey home with a stop for lunch in the Thousand Islands region and admire countless islands covered in pines, castles, lighthouses, and history.
