New! The Ocean Reef Resort in Myrtle Beach

Over the past 12 years, DeNure Tours has built a strong following of guests who like to spend the fall and winter in Myrtle Beach. This program continues to improve and grow, and we are pleased to announce that The Ocean Reef Resort will be a new ‘home away from home’ for our guests.
In addition to its great location, this property has all amenities under one roof. Offering quiet beach-front surroundings, the hotel is located seven kilometres north of central Myrtle Beach, and offers all of the amenities that our guests have come to expect for their winter holiday.
Your DeNure Tours representatives, Larry and Patsy Plemmons, endorse this change as a positive move for the comfort and safety of our guests. Patsy is delighted that the Activity Room is located in the Ocean Reef and is easily accessible, while Larry is pleased that loading the activity buses will be easier since the boarding area is away from street traffic.

In July 2007, our very own Julia Bryan began writing a weekly column called ‘On The Road’ that has been published the Lindsay Post. In 2008-09, Julia’s column has expanded its readership into southwestern Ontario and is seen weekly in the Oxford Review and the Brantford Expositor.
This year, Julia’s column has expanded once again - this time eastbound - and now appears in the Travel section of the Belleville Intelligencer.

| | | | | | The Kawartha Trail Association Honours Fred DeNure

On May 15th, the DeNure Family was on hand as the Kawartha Trans Canada Trail Association unveiled and dedicated the Fred DeNure Donation Wall.
The wall, named in honour of Fred DeNure, commemorates the families, individuals, and businesses that donate to the construction and preservation of the Kawartha section of the Trail.
This four-season trail links communities and parkland, and offers a great route for local walkers, hikers - and the DeNure’s favourite hobby - cycling. This Trail is also part of the Trans Canada Trail that will run from coast to coast across Canada when it is completed.

At DeNure Tours, we believe that our people are the cornerstones to our success. To honour our staff’s years of dedication to our customers, we recently held a celebration dinner for all of our Canadian staff, and we recognized those who were marking milestones of service.
The following staff milestones were celebrated:
· 3 people celebrated 5 years;
· 4 people celebrated 10 years;
· 4 people celebrated 15 years;
· 5 people celebrated 20 years; and
· Ray DeNure celebrated 25 years!
