Enjoy a city tour, shopping, and of course, a visit to Bronner’s Christmas Store. Then head to Grand Rapids to explore the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. Immerse yourself in this enchanting living museum, where the early spring blooms and stunning works of art await. While Frankenmuth is known as a magical Christmas destination, this charming town is perfect at any time of the year. In the spring, the city comes alive with vibrant colour, boasting 350 hanging baskets and thousands of flowers throughout its streets. Shake off those winter blues and experience the beauty of "Little Bavaria" in full bloom.

Spring is a vibrant season at the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, with tulips, cherry blossoms, and butterflies at their peak. As the premier sculpture park in the U.S., the gardens feature a permanent collection of over 50 major works, including Spider by Louise Bourgeois. This iconic piece is reminiscent of Maman, another spider sculpture by the same artist displayed at the National Gallery of Canada.

Downtown Frankenmuth is easy to walk around and explore. There are lots of interesting shops with unique items. A perfect spot to find some special gifts, or just stroll the street and take in the ambiance, you can almost believe you landed in Bavaria.
Day 1: Travel to Frankenmuth, MI
Make new friends as you journey through southwestern Ontario, heading toward the border at Sarnia. Continue northwest through Michigan’s scenic farmland before arriving at your hotel. Once settled in, enjoy a delicious Jager Schnitzel dinner followed by live entertainment.

Day 2: Frankenmuth City Tour, Shopping, Wine Tasting, Glockenspiel & Christmas Lights
After breakfast, embark on a city tour to explore the rich history of this charming town. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Take advantage of complimentary transportation to Birch Run Outlet Mall, downtown Frankenmuth, and Frankenmuth River Place or relax at the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a wine tasting and view of the Glockenspiel before indulging in a delicious traditional German dinner at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant. On the way back to the hotel, we’ll drive down Christmas Lane to admire the holiday lights at Bronner’s.

Day 3: Bronner’s Christmas Store, Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, Robinette’s Apple Haus & Winery,
No trip to Frankenmuth is complete without a stop at Bronner’s, “The World’s Largest Christmas Store." After shopping, travel to Grand Rapids, home of the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, named the best sculpture park in the U.S. by USA Today. Take a narrated tram tour and explore the Japanese Garden, Arid and Victorian gardens adorned with bronze sculptures by masters like Degas and Rodin, the carnivorous plant house, and the tropical conservatory, where the Fred & Dorothy Fichter Butterflies Are Blooming. Next, head to Robinette’s Apple Haus & Winery, a century-old family farm that produces farm-to-bottle wines and ciders. Enjoy tasting their seasonal, house-made favourites in the charming 1881 barn tasting room. After checking into the hotel, unwind at the fun “Kick Back Party,” a signature feature of the Drury Plaza.
