With this cruise vacation, escape to the warmth and sunshine of the Caribbean! We make this stress-free, with leisurely round trip motorcoach transportation to New Orleans, and we include some fun sightseeing in this vibrant city.
With this no-fly cruising option, there’ll be two overnight stops on the way to and from Louisiana, and then there’ll be a day to enjoy the music and the flavours of New Orleans before embarking on the cruise. The ports of call include Costa Maya and Cozumel on the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico, Harvest Caye in Belize, and Roatán, Bay Island of Honduras. Relax on the beaches, become immersed in the history of the Mayan culture, indulge in unique shopping opportunities, savour the flavours, explore the rainforests or snorkel and marvel at marine wildlife among the coral reefs, all with the comforts and amenities of your Norwegian cruise ship accommodation.

The Caribbean
Your cruise includes five ports of call, each with amazing options for exploring or relaxing. You can choose to explore the Mayan ruins of the Yucatan Peninsula and experience eco-tourism in rainforests, nature preserves and corals reefs, or relax on soft sandy beaches and enjoy the charm and flavours of the islands.
New Orleans
Stay in the world-famous Vieux Carre, better known as the French Quarter. Known for its music and Bourbon Street banter, it is also the oldest neighborhood in the city. Enjoy a jazz lunch in the Court of Two Sisters, a guided tour of Mardi Gras World, and with your free evening in the city, experience the flavours of New Orleans.
Day 1: Travel to Kentucky
Sit back relax and enjoy the drive through southern Ontario, picking up guests along the way as we head for the border. We’ll have an early lunch before crossing into the US, and then continue travelling southward.

Day 2: Continue Southward to Alabama
After a good night’s sleep and breakfast at the hotel, the journey southward continues, with several breaks along the way.

Day 3: Arrive in New Orleans
Today will have an earlier start, as head to New Orleans. The adventures begin with the Jazz Brunch at the Court of Two Sisters, followed by a guided tour of Mardi Gras World. After checking into your hotel, enjoy a free evening in the famous French Quarter.

Day 4: New Orleans City Tour, Embark on Cruise
This morning, learn more about New Orleans during a guided tour, then, board the ship in time for lunch, and get settled in. The ship sets sail at 4:00 p.m. and the cruise portion of your vacation is underway.

Day 5: At Sea
Discover the amazing amenities on the ship while at sea. Indulge in one of the many dining experiences and enjoy live entertainment. The cruise ship also offers many different programs that change every day. You will receive a list of these events in your cabin. There are lots of places on board to find a deck chair and simply relax with a good book, cruising with Norwegian means vacationing at your own speed.

Enjoy your final breakfast onboard, while the ship arrives back in New Orleans. The motorcoach will be there to receive you, and we’ll begin the journey homeward. Enjoy southern lunch fare in Mississippi, and then in Tennessee, arrive at your hotel in time kick back and enjoy a fun dinner.

Day 12: Corvette Museum, Travel to Ohio
After breakfast at the hotel, the journey northward continues. Our mid-morning break will be a guided tour of the National Corvette Museum, and after lunch, we’ll be on our way again. Dinner tonight will be a tasty, relaxed Olive Garden experience.

Day 13: Homeward
This morning we’ll be on our way a little earlier, after enjoying breakfast at the hotel. We’ll arrive at the border at around noon, and once in Sarnia, we’ll stop for lunch. While travelling homeward, bid ‘adieu’ to new friends and savour warm memories of your winter escape to the Caribbean.

We recommend comfortable rubber-soled shoes for the walking tours. You should also bring along a sweater, as evenings can be cool on the water or in the air conditioning on the ship. Don’t forget your camera, sunscreen and a hat.
Although for most people medication is not required, there may be some who may want to bring along a remedy for motion sickness. You don’t want to let that spoil these amazing experiences.
WHAT TO WEAR ON A CRUISE
Dress cruise casual anytime during the day, in the buffet and in most specialty restaurants. For women, it includes summer and casual dresses, skirts, regular or capri pants, shorts, jeans and tops. Khakis, jeans, shorts and casual shirts are fine for men. Swimwear is acceptable at the buffet and outdoor restaurant, but a shirt or a cover-up and footwear are required.
Dress smart casual in the more formal dining room or in the more upscale specialty restaurants. For women, it includes slacks or jeans, dresses, skirts and tops. For men, it's jeans or slacks with a collared shirt and closed-toed shoes. Norwegian's Night Out, is the perfect opportunity to get dressed up for an evening of cocktails, fine dining and great entertainment. You may also want to pack an all-white ensemble for Norwegians iconic White Hot Party.
