For those unfamiliar, she is the Canadian author of the award-winning, bestselling series of Chief Inspector Armand Gamache mysteries. In 2017, she received the Order of Canada for her contributions to Canadian culture. A mini-series, Three Pines, based on the books, is available for viewing on Amazon Prime Video.
