Great Start to the Christmas Season
Get ready for the holidays in one of the most festive cities in the world. Celebrate the wonders of the season at the annual Rockette Christmas Spectacular. Prepare to be wowed with amazing choreography, set design, visual effects, and dazzling costumes.

Synonymous with world-class productions, head to the Theatre District for an amazing Broadway performance of Wicked.

The location of the hotel, the Marriot Marquis Times Square, is in the heart of Manhattan. This sophisticated hotel soars above Times Square, Carnegie Hall, and Radio City Music Hall, with the whole city waiting, right outside the front door!
Day 1: Travel to Scranton, PA
Board the coach and relax as we cross into the United States near Gananoque, with beautiful views of the Thousand Islands. Stop at the Salmon Run Mall in Watertown for lunch and time to shop before making our way to Scranton, Pennsylvania. Upon arrival, settle into your room, then get to know your fellow travellers during a cocktail reception and a relaxing dinner.

Day 2: Welcome to the Big Apple
After an included breakfast, board the coach and depart for New York City. Feel the excitement and energy of Times Square as you explore this famous district. For lunch, walk a few blocks to Restaurant Row, this culinary destination offers something for everyone, and the way-finding kiosks located at the end of each block, have a full listing of restaurants. Don’t worry, your tour director can help point you in the right direction. After lunch, board the coach for a 3-hour guided tour through the different neighbourhoods of New York City, including Central Park. Return to Times Square and check in to your centrally located hotel. Freshen up, rejoin the group, and walk to dinner.

Day 3: Radio City Music Hall, Rockettes Spectacular Christmas
New York City’s legendary Radio City Music Hall is yours to discover during a guided backstage tour. Marvel at the beautiful Art Deco architecture as you learn the history of the near-century-year-old building. The rest of the afternoon, including lunch, is on your own. Optional attractions available to purchase in advance are the Intrepid Air Sea and Space Museum or Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. Enjoy a group dinner in the evening, followed by New York’s favourite Christmas tradition, the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. This show is the perfect way to get into the spirit of the season and see Christmas magic come to life!

Day 4: 9/11 Memorial & Museum, Free Afternoon, Wicked Performance
After a restful evening, depart for the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. This commemorative location celebrates and honours the lives lost during both terrorist attacks (1993 and 2001) and educates people on the impacts of terrorism. Pause at Memorial Plaza, a place for gathering, remembrance, and reflection before entering the 9/11 Museum. During the guided tour, learn from experts about what transpired that day and see artifacts recovered from Ground Zero. After lunch, meet at the One World Observatory and ride the SkyPod elevators to the highest point in the city. Take in the New York skyline with 360 ° views and enjoy the many interactive displays showcasing New York from a different perspective. With a short time to freshen up, rejoin the group and walk to Ellen’s Stardust Diner, a retro 1950s-inspired restaurant with a world-famous, singing, waitstaff. Afterward, transport to the land of Oz, during a performance of Wicked.

Day 5: The Journey Home
Sadly, it’s time to say goodbye to the Big Apple. After breakfast, depart from the city and head towards home. Read a book, watch a movie, or chat with your new friends as you travel home with lunch and an included dinner break scheduled. Cross the border and bid farewell to new friends with a heart full of new memories.
