    Myrtle Beach SkyWheel

One of the iconic features of the city scape is the SkyWheel. This 187 foot (57 m) tall Ferris wheel opened in 2011 and is the biggest Ferris wheel on the East Coast, with the highest view of its kind of the gorgeous Atlantic Ocean. The Myrtle Beach SkyWheel is a breathtaking attraction and the pride and joy of the 1.2-mile Boardwalk, where those not afraid of heights will be rewarded with a beautiful view of the city's skyline. And hey, if you are afraid of heights, be sure to stop off at the nearby RipTydz Oceanfront Grille and Rooftop Bar for a little liquid courage.

    Shopping

Sometimes you just need a little retail therapy. There's plenty of it in the area! Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, Coastal Grand Mall, The Market Common and the Tanger Outlet Mall are just a few local options to find that perfect outfit, gifts for loved ones or just a few trinkets for yourself.

A licensed guide will entertain you with historical facts, lore, and humour while your carriage ride covers more than 2.5 miles and 30 blocks of historic Charleston. It really is the best way to see the “Holy City”! Choose the optional boat cruise and stand on the grounds where America’s deadliest war began at Fort Sumter and Fort Moultrie National Historical Park. The first shots were fired here, igniting a conflict that saw more than 700,000 casualties. Experience the opening battle of the American Civil War and explore its origins with a National Park ranger.
