  • Important Info

Our unique Connections Program makes it easy to join the trip and is included with this package.

Passport required; must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.

Italy uses the Euro (€) currency.

English is commonly spoken in tourist areas, hotels, restaurants, and major attractions throughout Italy, though less frequently in smaller towns and rural communities.

Agropoli enjoys a pleasant spring climate in April, with daytime temperatures typically ranging from 15–20°C (59–68°F). Mild weather makes it ideal for sightseeing and exploring the coastline and historic towns of the region. Evenings can be cooler, so layered clothing and a light jacket are recommended.

Electrical outlets in Italy use European-style plugs (Type C, F, and L); an adapter is required for travelers from North America.

City Taxes are a small local fee paid directly at the hotel, per person, per night, to support tourism and maintain the city’s attractions, and are not included in the price and must be paid directly to the hotel.

Please note: our Global Long-stays operate differently from our land-based long-stays, as a daily activity program is not offered.  The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of many restaurants and shops.  Our on-site representative will be available to offer suggestions.

  • The Region

Perched on Italy’s stunning southern coastline, Agropoli lies at the gateway to the Cilento Coast, where ancient history, natural beauty, and authentic Italian culture come together. The town’s medieval castle crowns a hill overlooking the azure Tyrrhenian Sea, while winding cobblestone lanes lead to artisan shops, cozy cafés, and a lively marina filled with fishing boats and waterfront restaurants serving fresh local delicacies.

Located just 30 km south of Salerno, 150 km southeast of Naples, and about 250 km south of Rome, Agropoli is easily accessible by train, car, or ferry, yet feels worlds away from the bustle of larger cities. In April, the weather is pleasantly mild, perfect for exploring the historic center, walking along the scenic beaches, or hiking nearby coastal trails.
