Day-to-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to L.A., Warner Bros. Studio Tour
Your west coast adventure begins with a morning flight from Toronto to Los Angeles. Upon arrival, travel to one of Hollywood's most iconic attractions, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour. Go behind the scenes of one of the world's busiest working studios and discover how movie and television magic is created. Enjoy a guided tour through legendary backlots, sound stages, and production facilities, followed by time to explore interactive exhibits at your own pace. After, check into the hotel and enjoy a welcome dinner with your fellow travellers.

Day 2: L.A. Guided City Tour
After breakfast, set out on a full-day guided tour showcasing the highlights of Los Angeles. Explore famous neighbourhoods including Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, stroll along the glamorous Rodeo Drive, and visit some of Southern California's most recognizable landmarks. Enjoy free time for lunch at the historic Original Farmers Market and shopping at The Grove, one of Los Angeles' premier shopping destinations. The day also includes visits to the Santa Monica Pier and Beach, spectacular views from Griffith Observatory, and a drive past Museum Row, Paramount Studios, and other notable sights. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon before gathering for dinner at the renowned San Pedro Fish Market overlooking the harbour.

Day 3: Embark on your Norwegian Cruise Ship – Sails at 4pm
Enjoy a relaxed morning and breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the cruise terminal. Board the Norwegian Encore and settle into your balcony stateroom. One of Norwegian Cruise Line's most innovative ships, the Encore offers an incredible variety of dining venues, lounges, entertainment, and recreational activities. Take in spectacular ocean views from the Waterfront promenade, enjoy Broadway-style productions, relax in the spa, or explore attractions such as the Observation Lounge, pools, hot tubs, and lively onboard entertainment venues. Enjoy lunch on board as you familiarize yourself with the ship and its many amenities. This afternoon, your cruise sets sail for the beautiful Mexican Riviera, marking the beginning of an unforgettable week at sea.

Days 4: At Sea
Wake up refreshed and ready to enjoy a couple of days aboard your cruise ship. Take advantage of the ship’s wide array of amenities, from relaxing by the pool or indulging in a spa treatment to trying out exciting onboard activities. With daily entertainment, enriching programs, and live performances just a short stroll from your cabin, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Day 5: Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (11am – 7pm) *Tender Required*
Arrive in beautiful Cabo San Lucas, where dramatic desert landscapes meet the sparkling waters of the Sea of Cortez. Your ship will anchor just off the coast, with tender boats transporting you to the lively marina in the heart of town. From here, you're steps away from waterfront restaurants, shops, beaches, and excursion departures. Spend the day exploring the charming town, relaxing on the beach, taking in views of the famous Land's End rock formations, or joining one of the many optional shore excursions available.

Day 6: Mazatlán, Mexico (8am – 6pm)
Today, visit Mazatlán, known as the "Pearl of the Pacific”, this vibrant city blends rich history with beautiful seaside scenery. From the cruise terminal, you'll have access to Mazatlán's charming Historic Centre, where colourful colonial buildings, lively plazas, and the beautifully restored Angela Peralta Theatre showcase the city's heritage. Stroll along the Malecón, one of the longest oceanfront promenades in the world, browse local shops and markets, relax on golden-sand beaches, or simply soak up the city's warm hospitality and coastal atmosphere.

Day 7: Puerta Vallarta, Mexico (8am – 6pm)
Enjoy a full day in picturesque Puerto Vallarta. Nestled between the Sierra Madre Mountains and Banderas Bay, this popular resort destination is known for its charming Old Town, oceanfront boardwalk, vibrant arts scene, inviting beaches, and excellent shopping and dining. Whether you're exploring the historic centre, relaxing by the water, or soaking in the city's welcoming atmosphere, Puerto Vallarta offers the perfect blend of culture and coastal beauty.

Day 8 & 9: At Sea
Another relaxing day at sea allows you to fully enjoy the ship's amenities. Take in a show, try your luck in the casino, enjoy specialty dining, or simply unwind as you cruise northward. In the evening on day 9, enjoy a final farewell dinner with your fellow travellers.

Day 10: Welcome Home
Wake up and enjoy your final breakfast onboard as the ship arrives back in Los Angeles. Once docked, disembark and transfer to the airport for your return flight to Toronto. Arrive home in the evening with wonderful memories of Hollywood, the California coast, and the beautiful Mexican Riviera.

The main currency used on this tour is the US Dollar (USD), including in Los Angeles and onboard the cruise ship. In Mexico, the local currency is the Mexican Peso (MXN), but US dollars are widely accepted in tourist areas, ports, and on shore excursions. Credit cards are also commonly accepted.
As with any cruise, a variety of optional shore excursions are available through the cruise line for an additional fee. To avoid disappointment, we recommend booking early, as some popular excursions can sell out quickly. Comfortable rubber-soled shoes are recommended. Be sure to pack a sweater, as evenings can be cool on the water or in the air conditioning on the ship. Don’t forget your camera, sunscreen, and a hat.
While most guests don’t experience motion sickness, those prone to it may want to bring a remedy.
What to Wear on the Cruise:
Dress cruise casual anytime during the day, in the buffet and in most specialty restaurants. For women, it includes summer and casual dresses, skirts, regular or capri pants, shorts, jeans and tops. Khakis, jeans, shorts and casual shirts are fine for men. Swimwear is acceptable at the buffet and outdoor restaurant, but a shirt or a cover-up and footwear are required.
Dress smart casual in the more formal dining room or in the more upscale specialty restaurants. For women, it includes slacks or jeans, dresses, skirts and tops. For men, it's jeans or slacks with a collared shirt and closed-toed shoes. Norwegian's Night Out, is the perfect opportunity to get dressed up for an evening of cocktails, fine dining and great entertainment. You may also want to pack an all-white ensemble for Norwegian’s iconic White Hot Party.
