Travel south to Lisbon, Portugal’s vibrant capital, and enjoy its historic neighbourhoods and scenic viewpoints, along with a traditional Fado dinner and show. Journey through fairytale cities like Sintra and the elegant coastal towns of Cascais and Estoril.     Day 2: Welcome to Portugal! 

    Welcome to Porto, Portugal’s vibrant northern capital. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and set out on a guided city tour, discovering Porto’s rich history, colourful architecture, and famous riverside charm. Following the tour, transfer to your hotel and settle in before regrouping in the evening for a welcome dinner.

    Day 3: Braga and Guimarães, Palace of the Dukes of Bragança

    After breakfast, set out on a full-day guided out to the historic cities of Braga and Guimarães, often referred to as the birthplace of Portugal. Explore centuries of history, charming squares, and remarkable architecture, including a visit to the magnificent Palace of the Dukes of Bragança. Enjoy free time to purchase lunch before returning to Porto, where the evening is yours to relax and explore at your own pace.

    Day 4: Discover the Douro Valley 

    Today, experience the breathtaking beauty of the Douro Valley on a full-day tour through one of Portugal’s most scenic wine regions.     Day 6: Welcome to Lisbon

    After breakfast, depart Porto and travel south to Portugal’s captivating capital city of Lisbon. Upon arrival, settle into your hotel and enjoy time to begin exploring this vibrant city known for its colourful neighbourhoods, historic landmarks, and scenic viewpoints. This evening, experience the soul of Portugal with a traditional Fado dinner and show, where heartfelt music and regional cuisine come together for an unforgettable cultural experience.

    Day 7: Lisbon City Tour

    Today, set out on a full-day guided excursion to the enchanting region west of Lisbon, visiting the fairytale town of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its palaces and lush landscapes. Continue along the scenic coastline to Cascais and Estoril, elegant seaside towns renowned for their beaches, marinas, and resort charm. Return to Lisbon for a free evening.

    Day 9: Lisbon to Évora

    After breakfast, travel east through the scenic Alentejo region to Évora, where you will spend the next two nights. This beautifully preserved medieval city and UNESCO World Heritage Site is rich in history and charm. Enjoy a free afternoon to begin exploring at your own pace before regrouping in the evening for a group dinner at a local restaurant.

    Day 10: Évora History,Chapel of Bones, Winery Lunch

Highlights include a visit to the striking Chapel of Bones, along with time to discover the city’s historic streets and landmarks. Enjoy lunch at a local winery, before returning to the hotel for a free evening.

    Day 11: Welcome to the Algarve

    After breakfast, depart Évora and journey south through the scenic Alentejo countryside en route to Albufeira in the Algarve. Sit back and enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel toward Portugal’s sun-drenched southern coast. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure to relax or begin exploring your new surroundings.

    Day 12: Algarve Sightseeing Day

    Embark on a full-day guided tour of the Algarve, discovering the region’s dramatic coastline and rich maritime history. Visit the historic town of Lagos, known for its charming old centre and stunning seaside scenery, before continuing to Sagres, a rugged headland often associated with Portugal’s Age of Discoveries and famously regarded as the southwestern tip of mainland Europe. Return to Albufeira for a free evening.

    Day 13: Benegil Cave & Catamaran Tour

    After breakfast, enjoy a relaxing yet unforgettable coastal experience along the Algarve. Board a catamaran and cruise along the stunning shoreline, taking in dramatic cliffs, hidden beaches, and crystal-clear waters. The highlight of the day is a visit to the spectacular Benagil Cave, one of Portugal’s most iconic sea caves, known for its natural dome and golden light filtering through the rock. Return to Albufeira in the afternoon with time to enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

    Day 14: Faro Free Day 

    In the morning, travel to Faro for a free day at your own pace. As the capital of the Algarve, Faro is known for its historic Old Town enclosed by ancient city walls and its unique setting beside a protected lagoon and salt marshes. Explore its cobbled streets, relax at a waterfront café, or stroll along the marina while taking in the relaxed southern Portuguese atmosphere. In the evening, gather with your fellow travellers for a final farewell dinner.

    Day 15: Fly Home

    In the morning, depart for the Faro Airport, reflecting on the unforgettable experiences and captivating beauty of Portugal. As you board your flight home, carry with you cherished memories of this vibrant, historic land.

    This is a fast-paced tour, designed to showcase the best of Portugal in a short timespan. 


    There is a lot of walking on this tour. We recommend comfortable rubber-soled shoes for cobblestoned streets and uneven ground.
